What was this place? I am reading about it in the Grand History of the Realms and all it says is...

-12000DR
Rise of the Vyshanntar Empire: After centuries of fruitless diplomacy, the impatient, grasping rulers of Aryvandaar attack Miyeritar and begin putting political pressure on Shantel Othreier to join them or suffer the same fate. The first crown war begins.

----

I saw no mention of "shantal othreier" prior to this entry. Was it another elven kingdom? was it Sun Elves, Moon Elves, Green Elves, or Dark Elves?

Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Oh, and also... where are the "Firepeak Mountains" on the map? The dwarves settled them in -11900DR.

Thanks

Wasn't it an area just north of present day Wormwood?

I know moon elves from Shantal Othreier founded Ardeep, which held out for one hundred years after Shantal fell to the forces of Aryvandaar.

Krash referenced Shantel Othreier as occupying the region of modern Green Fields, Western Heartlands, Sword Coast up to Ardeep Forest. 'Twas from his "North" timeline.

The Firepeak Mountains are the center of the Endless Waste, located between Faerūn and Kara-Tur. Chances are they do not appear on any of the core Realms maps, since the Endless Wastes are to the east of those.

Thanks everyone!!! Snowblood sent me a great document about shantal othreir. I've got a lot of reading to do!!

Also thanks for answering my question about the firepeaks.

Hey, as long as I have you guys captive... What exactly were the "Spawn Wars"? I mean... like it says the dwarves used deepspawn-bred legions. What does that mean?

Thanks. I love learning about the realms!!!

Mind the fan-made status of that. Essentially, you don't get much more official material on these places than what can be found in TGHotR or it's main predecessor, Cormanthyr - Empire of Elves ->
