My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I am pretty much a FR lite reader these days :) Just finished The Ghost King and while reading came over here to get as much Spellplague info as I could (gave you guys a shout out in the review as well). But I wanted to know this and forgive my newbieness. Is there a spot where the Spellplague lore is actually all explained? Or is this an ongoing process. Like for me, after reading the novel, I would love to know more of what happened and what being a magic user in this new world means and all that good stuff. Any thoughts?

There aren't, nor will be, novels detailing the events of the Spellplague, if that's what you mean. They most detailed account remains with the pages of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide. Certainly, some 4e novels visit, through historical reflection, the Spellplague, like Blackstaff Tower, while some others offer snippets, like Richard Lee Byers' "The Haunted Lands" trilogy.

Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide, yeah that is what I was looking for, not really a novel per say, but a guide to give me a little more in depth knowledge of the Spellplague.

Thanks.

You'll probably also find these DDI articles to be of interest, also:-

- "Year of the Ageless One, Countdown to the Realms," by Rich Baker, #362
- "Magic in the Forgotten Realms, Countdown to the Realms," by Bruce Cordell, #362
- "Spellplague: The Wailing Years, Countdown to the Realms," by Brian R. James, #362

Thank you, they were helpful as well. Sometimes it is tough not playing the game, but trying to follow the history in the novels, I am sure it works the other way as well.
