Since I acquired the other week a lot of older FR Novels I need to know what I should start with first. Should I go with the Avatar series trilogy or the Harpers. I have all three of the Avatar, but only about 5 of the Harpers.

Most of the Harpers books are stand-alone novels.

The Avatar trilogy happens before a lot of the other FR novels, but you can read most of them without reading the Avatar trilogy.

You might want to look at O Love's Novels Timeline -- he's got a great chronology of the novels.

That said, a lot of FR books can be read independently of each other, and you generally won't be missing too much. It's a big world, with a lot of stories.
