I know it was in "Hand of Fire" and that it is similar to coffee, wakes you up and needs to be brewed.
But what exactly is it? What is it made from, what does it taste like? I know they refer to it tasting like boiled boots at one point. But if prepared correctly does it ever taste good?
Well hopefully one of the sages here will have an answer.

No idea what Thrusk is, but since Big Ed wrote the novel, this is the kind of detailed Realms Lore that he has a patent on, perhaps you can ask the Man in his thread?
