The richest need it, The poorest have it, but if both were to eat it they would surely perish.

Can anyone figure it out?

I heard something similar once...

What's more powerful than AO, more evil than Cyric, and if you eat it, you'll die?

Mal.

Hrm... now for seriousness... how about "Nothing"... The richest need nothing (they already have everything they need and more), the poorest have nothing (they can't afford anything), and if they were to both eat nothing (for an extended period of time) they'd perish (starve)

Nothing is more powerful than AO, nothing is more evil than cyric, and again if you eat nothing you'll die from starvation.

heh...

Oh come on you lot, think!

The answer, of course, is NOTHING!!!

The Poor have it = Nothing
The rich need it = Nothing
If both were to eat it (Nothing) they would surely perish!

When im empty I cant be moved
I have two skins,
One without, and one within

Dang. I can't figure that last one out. I'm not good at riddles.

However, I do have one of my own.

You have been sealed in a room with no way out whatsoever. All you have is a light, a mirror, and a table. How do you get out?

(Hint: wordplay.)

How did you get into the room in the first place - to be sealed in - if there is no way out whatsoever?.

Sage, it's a wordplay riddle. It doesn't have to make logical sense.

That's the second half. But how do you cut it in two?

Ok i've tried like 50 times to put this riddle on so i'll have another go:

You are at a river, and you have to cross it. It is too deep to wade across. All you have is a fox, a chicken, some corn and a boat that only holds 2 people. You must cross in the boat as there is no bridge. Your items must be unharmed. What order do you take your belongings across the river in?

Here are some more.

1) There is a town in Texas where 5% of all the people living there have unlisted phone numbers. If you selected 100 names at random from the town's phone directory, on average, how
many of these people would have unlisted phone numbers?

2)Take one out and scratch my head, I am now black but once was red.
What am I?

3) There is an ancient invention still used in some parts of the world today that allows people to see through walls. What is it?

4) A quick test of intelligence. Don't cheat! Because if you do, the test will be no fun.

There are no Tricks to the test. Read this sentence:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Now count aloud the F's in that sentence. Important, count them ONLY ONCE: do not go back and count them again. And if you have arleady done this one before don't blurt out the answer.

5) We are little creatures;
all of us have different features.
One of us in glass is set;
one of us you'll find in jet.
Another you may see in tin,
and the fourth is boxed within .
If the fifth you should pursue,
it can never fly from you.
What are we? (Tricky)

That's all for now.

Life is like a box of chocolates. Once you eat the poisoned one you die.

The answer to riddle number 4 is 6.
Somehow our brain doesn't register the f's of the word OF.
Obviously it has a f in it and they should be counted too.
Therefor the answer is 6.

Nothing is impossible!

The "of" are registered V when we see them. As for number 5) the answer is the vowels.
