I understand that this post is a bit off topic, but I wanted to attemt to explain myself. I made a mistake by allowing a friend of mine to state his views on this forum. I admit that the comments made were quite arrogant and insulting, also the fact that they were crudely written. Im terribly sorry for disrupting a good discussion, and turning it into a mess. Please accept my humble apology, and assurance that no more posts of this nature shall be forthcoming from myself. I read a cmment from a fellow asking who this Yshyi is, so I'll put it out there. I'm a 30 year old male from the mountains of western N.C., and like most of you, I've read a vast majority of the Forgotten Realms novels. Im a huge fan and tho I dont participate in alot of the topics on this forum, I truly enjoy everyones insights on my favorite fantasy setting. Im a newcomer to forums of any type, and hope my previous lapse in judgement dose'nt cause anyone to harbor any feelings of ill will. Thank You.

You aren't responsible for anything anyone else here says, regardless of who they are to you.
And if arrogance is a crime at Candlekeep, lock half the sages up and dip us in hot oil!!!!

My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm |

There are a wide variety of views expressed on these forums, some of which by the language and poor grammar can prejudice the reader. I think it was a mistake allowing a fiend to use your account, they can always get their own, which allow us to confidently ascribe all comments made my yshyi to you.

Apologies are always welcome. Mistakes happen, but sadly many can't see the need to apologise for them. It's admirable of you to hold your hand up and say sorry, well done. |

Of course, it is always a mistake letting a fiend anywhere near your account, laptop, bank account, etc.
I meant friend. |

Have you been down into the catacombs beneath Candlekeep lately, Arion? Because this is surprisingly close to the truth. |

When I first read your post, I thought you meant fiend.
yshyi, apology accepted by me, think nothing of it. |

Let's see, the oil is heating up, we got the flour, little egg, dash of worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper (black, cheyenne, and red), and...uh...I mean, we're not gonna' waste a good execution/torture are we? |

Come on James, your cooking is not that bad is it? Suffering and dismay it might cause, but torture is to harsh a word. |

The only torture in my cooking comes when the last bite is gone...
...but I suppose that's only because it takes that long for the pain to begin...
...invariably accompanied by my cliche' movie villain laughter, mwahaha! |

I was wondering if I'd spelled it wrong for a sec', heh! But actually where I live it's pronounced "Worshishier" (or, "What's this here" sauce, but said really fast)....
...and I'm thinking this thread veered way off-course. Sorry 'bout that. My bad.
EDIT: Ack! I did spell it wrong! Worcestershire, no 'h', duh. Not exactly a word I type very much. |
