Well met

This is a Book Club thread for The Sword Never Sleeps (Book 3 of The Knights of Myth Drannor trilogy), by Ed Greenwood. Please discuss the chapters 9 - 16 herein.

The Hooded One will be here to pass on any questions to Ed and provide responses to comments.

It is very good to see Manshoon get a chance toappear capable and fearsome. Also very interest to watch The Old Ghost cull the ranks of the Zhents. It was interesting that Manshoon and TOG had the same endgame in mind in releasing the mad liches intothe throne room.

I found it very intriguing when Hesperdan said "Tis a very good thing I am a patient man"......."Well 'patient' at least"

That kinda makes you think twice about the theories of who Hesperdan really is. For exampe, if it were El I can't see him denying being a man. But might be something someone like Larloch might say!

Red Walker,
Ed tells me more about Hesperdan will be revealed in the fullness of time (I THINK he means fiction he's already written, but which is not yet published), but that right now NDAs prevent him saying anything at all in response to . . . what you noticed.
love,

Thank you for the insight Lady! I almost hesitated to mention it, but I felt like Ed definately put that there'd to be noticed I didn't expect even as much as you relayed, but it is very good to know we may get to read more about Ole Hes in the future!
