I'm looking for information about the Sea of Fallen Stars.

Can anyone offer me a comprehensive list of materials; including title, date of publication, and anything else you can offer me please?

Also, if anything free besides the Vilhon Reach is available anywhere, I would appreciate the help!

Pirates of the Fallen Stars and The Sea of Fallen Stars seem the most obvious ones...

You'll also want a copy of The Wyrmskull Throne adventure module. There's also the "Threat From the Sea" novels, and Queen of the Depths will also prove useful.

I cannot stress enough how great Sea of Fallen Stars is. I own every FR product published, either in print or pdf, and SofS is easily in my top 5. Not very surprising, since it's a Steven Schend work, and he just doesn't write bad stuff.

The great thing about it is that it updates much of the lore found in Pirates of the Fallen Stars, and then introduces a whole new setting: Seros, everything below the waves. It's complete with fifteen thousand years of history, all new races, and a really neat mage kit (though one I've tweaked rather substancially in my campaign). I own it both physically and as a pdf.

Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be...
Sigh... And now 4e as well.

Dungeon #66 also has a adventure set in the Sea of Fallen Stars but it's a very old issue. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Ditto, on all counts -- including having the print copy and a pdf.

Agreed. I've got both a well-thumbed print copy and a shortcut [or what laughingly exists as a short-cut under SageOS] to the PDF. I consider them both to be among my most treasured FR tomes, and some of Steven's finest RPG work.

Indeed. The undersea realms were part of Steven Schend's contribution to the Realms -- and thus, featured in both Sea of Fallen Stars and The Wyrmskull Throne.
