PrimoPDF is the one I use. It works great, except that Web pages with complex backgrounds don't keep the backgrounds when converted, but that's not an issue for you. I haven't tried it with graphics files, tho. |

I have a new one in this series - The Lands of Intrigue, stripped of all locales, roads, and place names.
This was done by special request, hence the size, and is also in BMP for better resolution - good luck down-loading it.
These maps, BTW, are useful (I think) to people wishing to run a 4e campaign, but don't want to wait around for me to change my mind about doing 4e maps (so they are a compromise, for the community).
Enjoy --- Mark |

Thanks chief! Awesome work again...even without locations listed on them they are probably some of the most valuable maps out there! For years I was wanting blank maps to tailor my own campaigns on! |

Well, thats pretty much my Calimshan Map right there, stripped of all its custom goodies, so you can download the full version right here at the keep.
Thats the 'controversial' map that was taken down from DeviantART, supposedly for plagerized material.
Which is weird, because technically ALL my maps are plagerized material, so why they just picked on that particular one is anybody's guess.
Anyway, its available here in the Maproom, and the blank versions of all my maps will slowly become available as I complete each one.
Edit: I just changed this one, because I didn't quite finish a couple of hills to the east of Erlkazar, and now they're done (so if you downloaded the the earlier one, my apologies, and if you printed it, I owe you some paper. |

Cool "Lands of Intrigue" map... but it's downloading for me as a JPEG, and a rather small one at that, which doesn't fit how you described it above. I'll play around with the download process a bit. All the same, nice work, as usual.
Edit: Okay, the download worked as a bitmap that time... I didn't do anything differently that I noticed. Weird.
How are Kara-Tur and Zakhara coming along?
Edit: Answered my question on the "Map of Kara-Tur" scroll. |

Yeah - I'm having some size/file/resoution problems with both Photobucket and DeviantART, so in the future I will be mailing all completed maps directly to Alaundo, so you will be able to get the 'premium' versions here.
Have a special 'surprise' map that will be available VERY soon. |

Any Requests?
I pretty-much have most of the Canon map stripped-down, and am just contemplating which area to polish-up first.
This is for 'Naked Maps'. I have a map of Amn I'm working on for those of you awaiting a new 3e one (with a new Map of the North to follow). |

A new map of the North? Wonderful! It's about time people had an alternative to my paltrey effort!
As for suggestions for a blank? Hmm ,I'd have some use for Irlkazar and the Turmish region inc. the western end of the Vilhon.
If you could do that, it would be great, Markus. |

I like the "Laerakond alternate placement" map! Do you have that in a bigger size/higher resolution?
Second: How's the big world map coming? I've been absent from the boards for a while, working on my own Realms vision and mechanics tweaks. Any chance of an updated full-continent map (if there have been any big developments since the last one, that is)? |

I've been working on everything (thats why nothing ever gets finished), a little here and a little there.
As for that map - its just a reference. The Laerakond, Nimbral, and Evermmet maps are all on my site (Evermeet is actually here at CK), and thats just the standard continental map thats available for free download (I've added a few things to that, but its far from complete).
The only larger Map I plan on releasing is the canon (Free Dowload) one with all the names, roads, and locales stripped-out. That mans, technically, all the maps in this thread are WIPs. I have problems posting the extremely large file sizes, so thats why I do everything in 'snapshots' (which I try to keep printer-friendly as well).
And out of all my current projects, this one is the nearest to completeion. Thats why I am asking for direction on which places folks would like to see first - I'm so close to finishing it that my ADHD is kicking-in and I can't decide what to do. |

I would love a stripped down map of the Dalelands. |

A large part of that can be seen on the Moonsea map.
However, all I needed to do was take some words out of the Sea, and that one was done.

I'm gagging for a 'naked' map of the north as well, or more specifically the region of Waterdeep to the Star Mounts. |

I just realized there was a Cormyr blank already up - I thought I posted one, but then when you requested it I assumed I forgot to (that happens a lot).
Anyway, the original one has the Map Scale and compass rose, so I'll leave them both up for now. I really posted now because I finally got the North stripped-out - this one was rough (all those mountains!)
The Naked North Map - I threw the scale and compass rose on this one as well.
Let me know if you guys want that, or would prefer it without any scale (or even a blank scale, so you can fill-in the numbers yourself).
Enjoy --- Mark |

I was working hard on one, but then when Brian's Cormyr article came out with that excellent map, I thought it redundent.
People feel there's still a need for one?
