Just finished reading it, any chance of threads being put up in the book club for discussion. Likewise for Mistshore which I am just about to start.

Both of these were on the shelves of my local store a few days early, but alas I could no t purchase either
All 4 copies of each one appeared to have been dropped on on or more of its covers and the outer layer was cracked or peeling away showing the white underneath. Maybe I am too picky, but I cannot abide brand new books being damaged and just wont buy them like that! They were expecting new copies soon, but so much for being before release! |

Y'know, I worked in bookstores for years, and I know that laydown dates are honored as much in the breach as they are in fact (except for titles like Harry Potter where busting the embargo endangers your distributor discount), so why is that for just these two books, every bookstore in central Kentucky felt like they had to be sticklers? Everybody's got 'em but me! I gave up and ordered them online so now I'll be even further behind. |
My Realms novel, Sandstorm, is now available for ordering. |

Don't worry CR, every other bookstore in my parents' area are sticklers for the release date. There's only the one here that puts them out as soon as they receive them (although, in the case of Potter, they didn't). And as I recall back to my youth (which is a bit of a journey now, and getting longer each day), they have always been like that.
Oh, and I did write a review of Blackstaff Tower here, but even I admit I'm a bit of a fanboy when it comes to stuff like this. |
I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Blackstaff Tower and Mistshore were stocked early at my local B&N, they will stock almost any book as soon as they get it, except for Potter which they built into a party on release eve, much like they and doing with Brisinger this fall. |
