I'm looking for all the information I can find on the Gatekeeper's Crystal prior to the events in "The Last Mythal" novel series. If anyone could point me in the direction of some relevant source books I would be grateful.
Try to have a look in Hellgate Keep and Volo's Guide to All Things Magical. I do not know if the period will be these one you look for. I just know these item is written about in the books. Especially the first one. Good luck !

The events in HELLGATE KEEP were presaged and first mentioned in THE NORTH boxed set, albeit very briefly. I can't recall if there is anything more than a shout-out of the name of the crystal.
