What exactly was the Mhaorkiira Hadryad from the novel Dreamspheres? A evil lore gem?
What exactly meant Hadryad?
Thanks

The Mhaorkiira ['Corrupt Gem'] is only a corrupt, evil kiira stone.
Hadryad is simply another name for a hamadryad as I recall. |

Yes that was what I supposed...Why is the kiira in Dreamspheres named like that? I that owned by an hamadryad in the novel or something? |

-As was said, Hadryad is another term for Hamadryad. This is not part of the word or phrase, though, if that is what is confusing you. |

Well in Waterdeep: City of splendors they tell us about the events of the Dreamspheres telling us that the Mhaorkiira Hadryad created the dream spheres...
So I guess a crazy dryad holding the corrupted loregem created the spheres?

And digging up a slightly dated thread... I'm rereading The Dream Spheres right now. Some of our musing was wrong. Hadryad was the name of the elven family to whom the Mhaorkiira once belonged. They were twisted by the dark kiira, which eventually lead to their demise. This is on pages 175 and 208 of that book. |

Well, it's been quite a while since I read the book, so I'm not surprised my info was a little off. I wouldn't say it was wrong, entirely. Just not really relevant in this context.
