No, it's nowhere near too obscure. This is one of the easy ones. I can even tell you where to taste it "for real" . . . if you're brave enough to break into the cellar of Ed's barn. love to all, THO |

Thanks, THO!
Anybody's welcome to answer (e.g. Wooly, Fillow, THO), but I'll work up a second hint in case it's still here tomorrow. |

Hint #1: Said brew may be easily procured from the Realms' iconic female entrepreneur.
Lemme know if this is is too obscure. ;)

...And now my next question:
The ranger Thanadar and the bard Arnthiir Windrivv were, under other names, part of a famous adventuring group. What is the name of that group? |

the adventuring company "The Nine" led by Laeral, who still maintains contact with them (2E).
Found in the Seven Sisters sourcebook P.32
I found this one Wooley during your last stumper about Laeral. |

You nailed it. I found that just a few hours ago, while looking up the spell Krash mentioned in another thread.
The next question is yours. |

The Galeb Duhr built the Watchwall in Aglarond for King Brindor, in exchange for possible future assistance.
My question will come later, after a confirmation on my answer, and with some much-needed thought. |

Who is/was Lorrick, what group is he a member of, and what great artifact was he rewarded with and by whom? |

As both a hint and a clarification - it isn't exactly clear if the item is an 'Artifact' as per the D&D rules - I was using the term to describe something more along the lines of a racial relic.
@Fillow - don't forget I also asked who gave him permission to take it. |

Lorrick was a dwarf warrior who was part of the Seekers, an adventuring comapny. I believe the artifact you speak about is Skysplitter, Thelarn Swifthammer's fabled war axe, a talking axe. The ghost of Thelarn himself rewarded the dwarf with it.

You know, I looked through most of my sourcebooks but found nothing. Now that I read your answer I realize that I would never have been able to beat you on this one. I don't have that particular tome. I have them all except for that one!!!
So Congrats Fillow , well deserved. |

That is indeed the correct answer.
I choose that Tome BECAUSE most scribes forget about it, including myself.
Eagerly awaiting the next question. |

Saurials? Don't know about sub-races, though... |

Good question, though, Fillow!
I wonder what's happening to saurials in 4e. Ah, a question for another thread! |

There was a web enhancement about saurials... I'll refrain from posting the link, though. I don't want to make it too easy. |
