I know I am way overdue for a hint or two, but.....really there is nothing else to give but his name......

And that he was a blue dragon.

And that he is now a Dracolich.

And his name starts with a S

Clearly the answer is Sapphiraktar the Blue, but I don't know where to find the canonical source of the above Frostrune-/Blackstaff-specific information.

I know at least one source--the novel Blackstaff.

Krash and Sage specialize in answering these questions in an indecently short amount of time.

Found it!

But I'm going to leave it alone for the moment, at least until I can prep a question of my own.

Whoa! For a second there, I thought I'd have to look this one up. I remember it now though.

I'm thinking you might be forced to provide a hint for this one.

That's usually why I take some time away from this scroll every few days. I don't want it to seem like I'm answering ALL the obscure questions!

I'm not sure I get this clue... But, unless I am mistaken (and I shall for once await confirmation), the item you speak of is Mierest's Starlit Sphere. Page 45 of FR4 The Magister notes that this item is "Said to be a gift from the purple-cloaked archmage to a traveler who visited Shamblegate".

I held off on answering until I could find a good question to ask.

Correct. Usually my clues are obvious but I thought I'd be clever this time (or try ... *ahem*). Selûne for the "starlit" part and roundly for the "sphere". Oh well, that's what I get for being a smartypants.

Ah, okay. I get it now. I wasn't looking far enough into it.

I was originally trying for obscurity, but Sage and Krash keep taking away that attempt at fun.

Instead I found some intriguing bit, and decided to run with it.

This inn is the site of at least 20 unicorn sightings a year. None know the nature of the unicorn, but it has more than once lead pursuers to great wealth. Name the inn.

Hint: This inn is located in a very safe city of the Heartlands, defended by a large number of horsemen.

You got it! The next question is yours.

The place is also mentioned in FRA, but there are no details about it there.

The other hint I was going to give: This inn was described by a well-known traveller.

Sh*t !
One more question I do not know the one we speak about !!
It's an unlucky week for the "FRench Fe/illow Scribe" !!

How shame I am to have missed the tavern dealing question !
I created the taverns and inns topic and I did not know this one...

But it makes me think that some scribes know the existence of some establishments and do not even think about sharing their lore with young volunteer scribes... If you see what I mean...

Back to the topic : Isn't it a good time for a hint ?
