Well met,

At the risk of revealing my anal-retentive nature, I have a small correction. On the front page it says, "Seeketh out knowledge and lore...". Unless I´m mistaken, in early modern English the command (imperative) form for the second person singular of the verb is "Seek", as in "Seek and ye shall find". "Seeketh" is the indicative form for third person, as in "He seeketh thee".

To give the line that early modern English flavor, the subject, "ye", could be stated: "Seek ye out knowledge.." Or the whole quote could be altered more radically to read something like: "Thou art now in the grandest library in all the Realms. Seek ye out knowledge and lore within this place and may Oghma guide thee.

And yes, anal-retentive does have a hyphen

At the risk of reavealing your anal-retentive nature. Mate, you just got a tattoo that says "anal-retentive".

If I waited till I knew what I was doing, I'd never get anything done.

Alas, thou hast happened upon a truth. Oh well, what can you do, eh? It's not a big deal really, it´s just something I noticed. If you're a carpenter, when you visit other people´s houses, you can't help but notice when their trim work is hastily done or a wall is out of plum. If you teach languages and literature, you notice problems with verb tenses.
Cheers,

PS. The asterisk is the anal-retentive tattoo.

Heh, true. That was how I knew when I'd been working in restaurants too long: I went out to eat one night, and when my food hit the table, I marveled at the plate presentation.

Luckily, I'm long enough gone from that industry that that no longer happens.

Um, well we all have our thing. For example, in order to win the which is better: dwarves or elves argument at our table, I got at tattoo of a saying in dethek. Since none of the elf fans were willing to get espruar inked upon their flesh (can't blame them) the dwarves have officially won the argument.

If I waited till I knew what I was doing, I'd never get anything done.

Well I like both dwarves and elves so ha. Dwarves cause of there aggressiveness and battle lust and never backing down from a fight just cause there size.Elves cause of there grace and swordmanship is unmatched, plus they live in the woods(my favorite) mostly and are born rangers and warriors. The females are a marvel in themselves as well.Plus they know the land and are stealthly.Elves also fight as a last resort, but don't temp them though. Also either race has any fear,or of dieing, and they never run usally. sorry if I spelled that wrong. But thats why I like both.

Those who fear the darkness have never seen what the light can do. http://s13.gladiatus.com/game/c.php?uid=67846
