Is there any set chart or power rating that states weakest to strongest constructs (Golems in this instance)? If so, could someone enlighten me on the nature of this, and which is the strongest/weakest golem? Rather sorry to plague you with my boring questions, but I hope to someday eventually become a walking encyclopedia of construct knowledge and the like.

By far the best look at 'constructs' in the Realms is a little addendum to the write-up of Alias in the old FR7 Hall of Heroes accessory. Lots of stuff on golems, clones, simulacrams, etc.
Oh, and weakest to strongest of traditional golems is flesh, clay, stone, iron. The clay golem however was in 1E and 2E only able to be created by clerics. This might not be the case anymore in 3E.

George is right. The best place for information of this type, is Alias' entry in the Hall of Heroes accessory. If you don't have access to this tome, and need some information, just post your questions here and I try and find the relevant information in the entry.

While I'm at it, I'll just add a little information contained within the tome about golems in general -
As George stated, flesh, clay, stone, iron are the ordering of golems from weakest to strongest - flesh golems are reanimated creatures, mostly made of humanoid flesh. Clay golems are specifically clerical designed and are made of inanimate materials (clerics using this type of golem run the risk of having it go berserk), they are assigned to places of little humanoid contact such as temple and shrine guard positions. The stone and iron golems are made from the like materials, although iron golems are considered the more stronger and powerful of the two. They are sometimes used in siege warfare, but most of the time, like flesh golems, they are used as guards or for protection.
However, look over the entry if you can, it is full of some really great material on golems and the like.

Thank ye' for the information. If you ever have any more spare bits of knowledge on Golems or Elementals, I'll gladly sit and be enlightened. I'm taking note of all of this information as well... thought not a very large note due to the fact that I have not been able to find very much when relating to Forgotten Realms. |

If you are not too particular about where your elementals come from, and also not too fazed about them not really being Realms-related, I have a whole notebook on some Negative Energy Plane Elementals and Negative Energy animated Golems that I created for my Planescape campaign, when 3e first started up. If you are interested let me know and I'll email to you some snippets for your perusal. You may find the elementals interesting.
Good learning...

I've also been doing some studies on elementals and golems as of late. Sage, if you could send me those negative energy plane elementals that would be great. You can send them to phanos8866@hotmail.com or post them here if you can. |

I can't post them here since they are not all my own creations or designs. Both my girlfriend and I have been working on them, and I don't have her permission to post, but emailing is fine. I am at work at the moment (yes, on a Sunday), I will email them to you when I get home.

By all means Email me about this. I am, oddly enough, a construct (Both natural and not) fanatic. Other than that, I like druids in whom shapechange into constructs... but it seems the last party I met with in which was composed of two sorcerors, a cleric, and a rogue did not know what to do with a "Walking talking pack mule/tank" as I like to call myself. |

That sounds interesting. Can you tell us a little more about some of these adventures concerning this Druid-"Walking talking pack mule/tank", that you call yourself?.

While it is interesting...
A druid is a nature class. Constructs are unnatural creations. WHY should a druid be able to shapechange into constructs?

That's basically why I was requesting more information. Aside from divine constructs (golems), I really can't see the basis for druidic constructs. It seems to contradict the base prinicples and beliefs of the Druid class.
