I'm looking for the book source of this cave devoted to Tiamat where eggs placed in the cave are corrupted/transformed by its magic. = Also, if I remember correctly, a ritual sacrifice in this cavern could give a luck worshipper of Tiamat the dragonblood subtype, but I'm not sure. = Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like you're looking for The Altar of Scales in Dragons of Faerun. There are two rituals in question. One is to become a half-dragon and the other is to become a dracolich.
