Do we have any Information if/how Feywild will be detailed, like a map, or a descriptions/ because if there are portals leading there it would be only logical if there was. |

There is a good deal of pre-release information on the Feywild (and the other planes) in Worlds and Monsters, one of the two 4E preview books. |

No mod here, but all of this endangers the thread to be locked down, let's discuss 4e Realms in its own thread |

True.
However, the discussion started around the fact that I felt a need to post seperate entries for the Feywild (core, Universal), and faerie (FR specific). I was just to trying to figure out how all of that worked, if they are one and the same thing.
And unfortunetly, I haven't 'found' a copy of W&M; I only have the info in R&C to go by, which I don't think even mentions the Feywild.
Very Much On Topic: Rich B. is on vacation, so I probably won't have any updates for awhile, unless they come up with another Realmslore article. The last one didn't really have anything 'applicable' in it.
Its currently taking all of my willpower to keep this FAQ neutral. |

Updated priest - I remember RB saying that a priest's alignment no longer need be 'as close' to his/her god as it used to be.
Which helps explain such oddities as 'heresies' and that weird temple in Calimshan that Artemis took down (which goddess was that again? Selune?) |

I'm keeping an eye on it.
However, if the present discussions are helping to hammer out some specific facts for the 4e FR FAQ Markus has organised here, I don't see any harm in allowing them to continue for the time being.

Selvetarm - absorbed by Lloth (mentioned in GHotR, IIRC) Ghaunadaur - Lloth attempted to kill, but it turned out to be an elder deity of unknown origin (also mentioned in GHotR, IIRC) |

Modified both Szass Tam and the Red Wizards entries, and added a seperate one for the Thayan Enclaves, all based on the new Podcast info.
I am not sure which of the two groups will be known as the "Red Wizards" in the new setting. Reminds me of the Harper Schism, or the Zhentarrim civil war. Maybe like the Zhents, we will see 'East' and 'West' versions.
Also added the Underchasm form one of the Countdown articles |

MT,
Would you mind highlighting new points in read (or another color that stands out) when you update the FAQ? That way we could read it without having to skip to page XX of the thread to and then try and find your latest entry to see what has been updated.
Thanks, Hawkins |

I updated the one over at WotC the other day to match this one, but I have since added something to that one (I think). I will try to synchronise the two later today - I found a few things in Brian's article that I had left out, and also Rich has mentioned at least one new political entity in the "Ask the Designer's" thread.
Unfortunetly, the 'Gods' Countdown article that was promised is no longer forthcoming (AFAIK), so we will just have to wait until the end of August to see whats what.
Funny thing - they aren't giving us anymore Countown articles because of all the flak they've been getting over them - so instead of prodcing material that will make us happy, they will instead not tell us anymore about the new setting... because they KNOW we will hate it.
There is really something wrong with their logic there. Don't they realize if they were producing quality stuff they wouldn't have to worry about fan disproval? Is it so bad they now feel the need to hide it from us? A company that is proud of what it is doing is much more forthcoming; they don't try to be all secretive about things unless they have their own reservations.
This really isn't the thread for this, but once again I am completely confounded by their marketing strategies. |

[sarcasm]What, WotC not delivering something like they promised, well that has not been my entire experience with the 4e Realms previews and DDi in general. Not at all![/sarcasm]
EDIT: Sorry for thread-jacking. |

It would be more correct to say that they are not yet a core class, but the will be in a future release (most likely in the PHB2). Not that I am advocating this, I just want to make sure that the facts are strait. |

Seconded. The 3E core classes that were "left out" are forthcoming, not gone for good. |

Hi Mark,
I also saw in Swordmage that there still were Luthic priests in 1479 DR. So, I think we might add Luthic, the Cave Mother, to the surviving deities. Don't you ? |

From Previews for July... http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4pr/20080703a
Some infos from the preview:
Cyric -imprisoned , but his church is quite a power in Amn Waukeen - her tempel of Goldspires above the capitol/bay isthe size of a small town itself
The Cowled Wizards - legal, mercenary wizards of Amn The Shadow Thieves - have become the almost exclusive thieves guild of Amn The Emerald Cabal - 'rebel' spellcasters who oppose the amnian system
Amn- ruled by merchant houses, major cities still there Muranndin - monsterkingdom south of amn Velen -independent Duchy west of Muranndin, southwest of amn Chult- Amn still has influence there Mhair Archipelago - probably the remains of the Mhair jungle
Spellscar - a mark that is the corroded echo of spellfire twisted by the disaster that was the Spellplague
Classes: An entirely new class and new multiclass-only class (available to characters who have a spellscar...), as well as new paragon paths and an epic destiny.

Perhaps not. But many will see it as oddly coincidental that preview articles stopped being posted after all the uproar, but other articles continue to come out on a regular basis. |

I wonder what the explanation for this will be? This whole plague thingy would not have made me any more positive to magic, or it's users.
