Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm looking for a detailed map of the Lake of Steam/Border kingdoms area (similar to the detailed ones in the maps sections here), but I'm having trouble finding one if it exists. I'm going to be starting a campaign soon as the DM in those areas, and I'd like to have a map with greater detail than the one that came with the 3.0 book. Any help, weblinks or direction anyone could give me to find one would be a great help for my game, and it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'd recommend The Border Kingdoms Archive on the dusty corners of Wizards of the Coast's archives, as written by the hand of Ed. Likewise, the map associated with the articles may be found here. The book Power of Faerūn likewise has a whole chapter devoted to the area. Good luck on your campaign, Merrel, and if you need any further help, you're certainly asking at the right place. |

Though as an addendum, Mods, you probably should move this scroll to the Realmslore->Sages section or similar. |

A detailed map of the Lake of Steam/Border kingdoms you say?!
The link above is of course a great one for the Border Kingdoms! But didn't Markustay work on that area lately also....?
HA! Just as I thought: try out this Map of Erlkazar.

Thanks Ergdusch.
That map contains most of the Lake of Steam, and a good chunk of the Border Kingdoms as well. For the area directly to the right of that, refer to the the Serpent Kingdoms maps over at WotC (the second one is very good).
If you need a more detailed map of the Border Kingdoms, PM me your E-Mail. |
