Been thinking about using an ur-priest of Kezef who was once a priest of Tyr (mainly so I can use lots of cool canine monsters and undead in his desecrated temple), as I remember that they're connected somehow. Does anyone here have any leads on where to go for information on Kezef and why he hates Tyr so much?

Champions of Ruin, on page 146, recounts the binding of Kezef and his involvement with Tyr. Essentially Tyr's history in Norse legends with Fenris is echoed in what he did to help bind Kezef in the Realms. |

Powers & Pantheons from 2e does as well. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Nothing lore-wise, but just some input -
Since he is an ex-priest of Tyr, I would give him a Bloody Severed hand as a holy symbol, just for flavor.
Knights of the Severed Hand is just way too good to pass up. |

The Kezef Hound was the one who bit Tyr's hand off. It is based off of the story of Odin and the Chaos Hound. |

well ... actually it was based of the story about 'TYR' and the 'FENRIS WOLF', odin wasn't a direct part of this area of the myth (other than commanding that it should happen) and there is no such thing as a Chaos Hound in the northic mythos ... KEJR is pretty much on it |

Ooh, good idea.
Though I also hope for some vile feats like Deformity: Teeth (for a Bite attack), so I could rip off, I mean pay homage to Bob Howard's little-known classic Black Hound of Death. |
