Was there any revelation as to where I lived? I've read Realmspace, so I don't suppose it's anywhere near Toril, but is it anywhere a Realmsborn person might know?

Have blazoids been found in Realmspace, and if they have, what were the circumstances of their appearances, please? (I can think of several devious ways to incorporate them, vide Bruce R. Cordell's When the Sky Falls.)

Blazozoids are intelligent balls of energy that kinda resemble comets. They're the offspring of an intelligent star that calls itself I. I created the blazozoids to search for other intelligent life -- intelligent by its standards, so humans, demihumans, and humanoids don't count.

It's been a long time since I seriously perused my Spelljammer lore... But I don't recall any Realmspace-specific references to blazozoids. As for I, only the most widely traveled Realmspace folk may have heard of it. We know Elminster and Khelben both know a great deal about arcane space, so they might know of I. I'd assume Gamalon Idogyr is another who may know of it. Ditto for Jasmine, because we know she traveled a lot -- especially for a non-spellcaster.

I may have been known of in Yeoman's Loft... There could even be some connection there, but that may be stretching it.

I don't immediately recall any particular references to blazozoids in the Realmslore either. I'll check through my archives though...

Forgive my ignorance, but Gamalon Idogyr is ... ?

I think that connecting them to Yeoman's Loft is a fantastic idea, Wooly. Barring any references to them in extant Realmslore, I will definitely work up a connection to Yeoman's Loft. Thanks for the illumination.

(BTW, I wasn't able to mail on Saturday. I'll try for tomorrow, Friday at the latest. Sorry! )

One of Steven Schend's characters. He can be found in the Lands of Intrigue supplement.

If I remember correctly, Gamalon was Steven's first PC. He was originally intro'ed in Dragon 159, in an article on spelljammer goodies. We didn't actually see him then; the intro was a letter from him to Elminster. Steven then imported him in Lands of Intrigue (incidentally, placing the Rock of Bral in Realmspace, as well).

Gamalon also appeared in the novel Blackstaff. He's the mage with an emerald in place of one eye.

Didn't he die in Blackstaff?

Oh, yes. I recall old gem-eye. I'll review info on him this evening.
