I have been reading some of Vhaeraun's lore recently and I have also been thinking of ways of letting V-worshipers know about each other In-Character.
Reading the novel The Lady Penitent Book 1: Sacrifice of the Widow, I came across an event where a V-worshiper calls some worshipers to a gathering by using a spell named "Shadow Summons" (page 73-74, not the HC version).
From what I understood (my FR lore is pretty limited) I think it works pretty much like the 'Sending' spell, except that it specifically targets (all?) worshipers of Vhaeraun, even though you don't know their faces and names. I tried looking for more information on the spell in what sources I have, but all I would find were "summons" as in the creatures, not this specific spell. Also using the search engine of these forums, I couldn't find anything under "shadow summons".
How exactly does this spell works? If it is under another name around in these forums, would you, please, direct me to the link?

That's.. frustrating.
No-one has any idea where can I find more information on this spell? |

I don't know the answer to your question, but give it a few more days (or weeks). Sometimes it takes a long time for the other scribes to sift through their tomes before they can come up with an answer. |
