Need some help from someone a bit more rules-savvy than myself.
I'm on a bit of a Zakhara-fix at the moment, and so I've been thinking - how much of a change to the yak folk's Challenge Rating and/or ECL would it be to change its "summon janni" ability to "summon dao" (Manual of the Planes.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

What is the CR of a dao? A janni has a CR of 4. If a dao has the same CD, then it would change nothing. I do not have a Manual of the Planes in front of me, so I cannot check. |

At the risk of coming of as a bit rude: if they had the same CR, would I have asked?

| Assigning CR is always a bit of an art form. Probably the easiest thing to do is to reduce the duration of the summoning or give the dao a little more free-will (I'm trying to go by memory how the yak-folk janni thing works) and keep the CR the same... |
