This is another product I was thinking of getting. Is it any good? Is there good stuff on Cormyr or is it one of those modules that could be plunked down anywhere?

When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.

I read it a few years ago, but it didnt do much for me. I cant remember how much new Cormyr lore it contained though.

It has some interesting plots and some of the four individual adventures give a good feel of the cormyrean political and social structure, IMO. However, I did not find much new lore in it.

BTW, you can find the wotc download site here.

I used to but since your so good at doing it, I let you do it instead. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I read through it once and I think there is a murder investigation in there that seemed like a pretty good RP adventure IIRC

LOL! Most of the time I leave it up to the Hamster as well and I will do it in the future again, if you so desire Wooly!

You do recall correctly, Alisttair! And that one is my favoriteof them as well. It is a double investigation with lots of potential for making favorable, longlasting and powerful allies in the noblility of Cormyr - if the group does not get sentenced for the crime themselves, of course!
