A couple weeks ago, some very bad news came over the TV. Sheriff Harry Lee is dead. Its pretty crippling for the city of New Orleans, but it wasn't until I was talking about it at lunch that it hit me how much my fellow gamers would appreciate this Sheriff's memory. What's so special about Harry Lee? Well, the man graduated from LSU about 50 years back as the person voted most likely to succeed. He went on to succeed in his family business, a Chinese restaurant. After some time, he decided he would run for Sheriff... so this big Hawaiian looking man donned his cowboy hat and got the job of Sheriff. With his cajun heritage, he quickly became known as the Cajun Cowboy. He was Sheriff for almost my entire life, and he never backed down to political pressure. I can remember the times when he used to show up at the beginning of movies to tell people to be quiet and good by using a bull whip to pull laser pointers and cell phones out of their hands. Harry Lee- Cajun Chinaman Cowboy Sheriff wielding bullwhips to protect the people..... was there ever a more true life D&D character ever created? God bless his memory.
