The characters from the novels were stat’d up in DRAGON #262. The other article, on Candlekeep, was #255.

And for reference purposes, the Bhaalspawn template was in DRAGON #288.

Actually he probably used the text I wrote up years ago for my WOTC FR faq. :) Wonder's if that is still on the boards.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Actually, I used my memory, since I turned to these particular articles for references about a week ago.

And yes, Kuje, your original FR FAQ is still located on the WotC boards. But, as I've told you before, 'tis been greatly expanded upon in the Candlekeep's Guide to Forgotten Realms FAQ that I'm [still] compiling.

Groovy that it is still there. :) I still reference my hard copy every so often.

I'm curious. Are there digital versions of Dragon anywhere that you can pay to get? Or do you think Wotc will offer the catalog digitaly someday? I stopped buying Dragon like 10 years ago but I would love to be able to catch up on them without having to find the hard copies.

Have you tried paizo.com? They're slowly updating most of the old issues of DRAGON to PDF that you can download for just a few dollars $US.

Alternatively, paizo.com also offers a significant catalogue of older issues of DRAGON in hard copy form.

Speaking of Dragon Magazines, are there any that the sages here would consider essential or very important in terms of Forgotten Realms lore? Looking to improve my collection of them.

I'm pressed for time at the moment... so I can't be more specific. But I'd say that so long as Ed, Steven and/or Eric are the authors of these particular articles, then you've got access to FR articles that I would consider both essential and very important in terms of the Realmslore.

Well, in recent years there's obviously the "Waterdeep-issue" (which I can't remember the number of - it's the one with Elaith sneaking in through a window, sword in hand, on the cover, though).

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

335? Got it. The only way I could improve on that issue is by getting it signed by the lovely Mrs Cunningham.
