Greetings all! I’m here to ask, is there any lore—anywhere—about the seemingly opioid-like plant, sable moonflower? The only reference I’ve ever found is the Murder in Baldur’s Gate adventure; as a passing mention as an addiction of the elf who gave Nine-Fingers Keene her moniker. (And that combining it with dried cockatrice egg yolk causes nightmares.
If not, it’s fine. This is just for the verisimilitude of a background NPC character who’s also addicted to the stuff.
Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet. And every friend has a story.
I recall a reference in Ed’s Swords of Eveningstar… and Eric L. Boyd’s ‘Mintiper’s Chapbook’… but they don’t really add anything other than the mention of it in both sources.
