In preparation for an upcoming campaign, I'm gathering lore on Undermountain. I have all the major sources(the two Ruins box sets, Skullport, the 3 Dungeon Crawl modules, the web articles here and on wizards.com, and the Nobles series novel), but for some reason I think there are some smaller sources I'm missing---didn't Steven write a few Dragon articles on the Yawning Portal? I'd check, but I can't remember the issue numbers.  |

Steven... you really have to stop sharing so much about Blackstaff .
You're making my anticipation for it grow with every single scroll you've shared novel tidbits in today... .

"I Sing A Song By The Deep-Water Bay" [Dragon #211]: ??? [pre-1370 DR]
I can barely recall this article, but very little in it ties it to timeframes. Even so, I'd place this time-wise equal to the 2E COS box (1367ish) simply because a lot of it was generated for that box but never appeared due to space considerations and time....
And I even managed to use some of the locations in BLACKSTAFF, once Eric reminded me of this article... |

According to the out-of-date fiction listing on the WotC page (Presenting . . . Seven Millennia of Realms Fiction), Escape From Undermountain is set in 1325. That makes it one of the few exceptions to the "stick to the present or very recent past" policy for novels... |
