My idea is to have Dmetrio (or substitute) doing this without instructions, so it's a little of a mystery.  Is there anything in the lore to help me out with characters and plots?

I read it some few years ago but I recall that it touched on the House more than once. It is too far back for me though to remember anything of detail. However, if you are looking for that trilogy look fopr the following books: Venom's Taste, Viper's Kiss & Vanity's Blood.
