Mace Hammerhand	Posted - 23 Oct 2006 : 21:58:22 Here is my problem: is there any patch/fix/whatnot that could change my German language version of BG1 into an English version so to speak. I hate the sucky German voices they used and it steals much of the flair to read stuff in German.

Zorro	Posted - 24 Oct 2006 : 04:51:58 German dubbing generally sucks big time, so I try to find out beforehand if a game allows me to switch to English, and if not, I import a UK version. Before I got Baldur's Gate, I watched a friend play the German version - this experience redefined my definition of 'horrible' - and advised him to switch to English, if possible. No such luck, German voices only, he said. Needless to say, had I not found a foreign version, I wouldn't have purchased it at all Zorro
