The genre is much older than Diablo: Roguelike.
EDIT: A discussion of trying to do something like that with NWN with someone else is what lead to my current Undermountain game, actually. |

Posted - 22 May 2006 : 04:21:54 I could be wrong, but my understanding is that this is a randomized dungeon crawl (that changes each time you play) using the Undermountain name.
Images and memories of games like Gauntlet (or old PC games like Telenguard http://vjetnam.hopto.org/big/t/telenguard_-800b.gif) spring to mind.
Anyway, I am just wondering how much of an actual FR story if any there will be. |

Posted - 19 May 2006 : 17:41:26 Well, making premium modules, that you pay for, with the Neverwinter Nights label on them, to me, makes about as much sense as putting out a Forgotten Realms hardcover sourcebook that details a completely different setting than the Forgotten Realms. |

Well, according to people at Bioware, WOTC has made it known that they would prefer that all future Premium mods do take place in the FR. |
