As I recall, Eric or Eytan answered in a similar fashion to a similar question in the DoF scroll a long while back...

The answer is no...it's a pretty easy answer, since the series takes place thousands of miles away in the Cold Lands (Damara, Impiltur, the Great Glacier), and has nothing whatsoever to do with the Silver Marches.

*A* powerful silver dragon dies in the final book, and I'm betting someone confused her with one of the Silver Marches dragons. |

They are listed as being alive still in the Dragons of Faerun web enhancement, so I'm going to say that they are not dead. |
