*Spoiler Warning*

Is it true that one of the Silver Marches' guardian dragons dies in this series?

If so, which is it and how?

They are listed as being alive still in the Dragons of Faerun web enhancement, so I'm going to say that they are not dead.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

The answer is no...it's a pretty easy answer, since the series takes place thousands of miles away in the Cold Lands (Damara, Impiltur, the Great Glacier), and has nothing whatsoever to do with the Silver Marches.

Spoiler (highlight):

*A* powerful silver dragon dies in the final book, and I'm betting someone confused her with one of the Silver Marches dragons.

"Instead of asking why we sleep, it might make sense to ask why we wake. Perchance we live to dream. From that perspective, the sea of troubles we navigate in the workaday world might be the price we pay for admission to another night in the world of dreams."

As I recall, Eric or Eytan answered in a similar fashion to a similar question in the DoF scroll a long while back...
