However, here's the part that got this Waterdeep fan really excited:
quote:The second novel under the contract will be a collaboration with Elaine Cunningham (author of DAUGHTER OF THE DROW and other novels), dealing with the city of Waterdeep. Greenwood confessed that he is especially "eager to get going on this one," due in large part to his admiration for Cunningham, "one of the Realms writers who's impressed me most." "From the moment I saw the original manuscript of her first Realms novel, ELFSONG, I thought she'd somehow been reading my mind," Greenwood said. "The city of Waterdeep and many of its key characters, hitherto published only in a [Dungeons & DragonsŪ] game product, sprang to life looking, talking, and acting EXACTLY as I imagined them."
Elaith and Ed writing a novel together about Waterdeep! I definitely expect to see my favorite character, Elaith Craulnober, within it.
