Posted - 18 Feb 2003 : 01:24:36 I'm currently reading Elminster: The Making of a Mage.
For those of you who have read it, I'm a bit confused (the book explaned it, but I guess i need to hear it differently). Mystra turned Elminster into a woman. Why? It said why, but I just.... don't get it. Help . |

How much of the way that Elminster (and males in general, by extention) thought was because he was male, and how much was because he was brought up as a male? Would a sex-change be that much of a learning experience, as far as magic (or other unisex subjects) is concerned?
It's a proverbial age-old question: blood or breeding? Nature or nurture? |

I don't remember the exact wording from the book but I'm pretty sure it has to do with humbling Elminster.
Ok, thanks. I was way off then. Thank you.

Salius_Kai, when posting new topics, please use a meaningful subject rather than "I have a question" otherwise its difficult (nay, impossible) to determine what help you require Ive amended this one to be the name of the novel for which answers you seek. Thank you.
Sorry and Thanks |
