Promise of the WItch KIng is apparently the next Artemis/Jarlaxle book. |

I got the reference. The old tombstone pizza commercials, right? Am I getting old?

Not Maiden of Pain, though. Everyone! Go get Kameron's book! (When it comes out in a month and a half. ) I know I will!

Also, I may be behind the times, but could someone please explain the dislike of Eberron? I find it hard to root against any game setting in this day and age (well, maybe Star Wars. But that's a separate grief...).
I have no idea how others feel about Eberron, that's for another board. I don't dislike Eberron. However, I am quite tired of the hype surrounding the setting. While it is natural for a company to hype a product, at times it bordered on the absurd to me when it came to Eberron (I'm thinking in particular a certain Dragon editorial when using this term). |

Posted - 11 Apr 2005 : 05:40:53 I haven't read any priest books(though i intend to pick up Mistress of the Night) but from what I've heard, both of the books already published features protagonists who worship good deities (Lurue, Selune). |

Do they fence in tournaments like Mr. Byers? Do they have a trilogy with killer dragons currently? No.
So, it's Mr. Byers for me. You go ahead and live dangerously. Just tell me what you want on your tombstone. |

I know this is a slight aside, but I'll admit that I was rather pleased with the two Eberron novels I've read so far.
I may just have to continue purchasing them.

Yes, that's generally true. Though Ruby Guardian seemed to lag a little.
