Posted - 17 Apr 2005 : 02:13:19 Telamont Tanthul and Elminister working together? Hmm...that sounds interesting but I think it will be hard to get the two to work together. |

Posted - 16 Apr 2005 : 11:42:45 For me? I say in terms of combined power to meet a important objective, I say: 1) Caledan Caldorien and Ferret would be good. 2) Telamont Tanthul and Elminister (I know it is impossible but surly when both work together, their power would be magnified a hundred fold against foes such as the phaerimm or Zhentarim.) |

Another excellent duo.
I'll third that .
I would welcome reading more about these two, I think.

Posted - 13 Apr 2005 : 03:43:49 I must say I liked the Drizzt/Catti-brie suggestion. Just look at the cover of the Legacy of the Drow series.
I have to agree with Josh here...
Belkram and Itharr are my two favorites, as well as Rathan and Torm. It's unsettling that they weren't on the original post's list. Have we forgotten these great heroes already? Belkram and Itharr are in the Shadows of the Avatar trilogy, and Torm and Rathan can be found in the Shadows of the Avatar trilogy, Spellfire, and Crown of Fire. Go...

Posted - 12 Apr 2005 : 19:08:39 For power, El and the Simbul. For fighting, Entreri and Jarlaxle. For comic relief, the Bouldershoulders.
Also, runners-up include Alias and Dragonbait, along with the Wyvernspurs. Go Cat!

Posted - 07 Apr 2005 : 02:31:42 Drizzt and Gwenhyvvar, I say. Drizzt has the Hunter personality in him and coupled with Gwenhyvvar. They are a formidable pair. |

Xzorsh I think is the correct spelling. But, regardless, wonderful choice. |

Itharr and Belkram
They tie with Torm and Rathan

Posted - 04 Apr 2005 : 03:54:53 That was my vote for Ivan and Pikel Bouldershoulder. Ivan's always yelling that when Pikel gets into some deadly trouble. I'd also like to note that I don't know most of the people on this list and I hate the few I do know. |

Posted - 03 Apr 2005 : 21:41:14 Danilo and Arilyn Danilo and Elaith I even enjoyed a short story in a early Dragon with Elaith and Arilyn though they are such an unlikely pair.
I enjoyed reading about Zoar and Amaruil in Evermeet, that have to be on my list as well.

Absolutely. Elaith loves having the spotlight on him.
I always thought Danilo had a way of getting under Elaith's skin.
I agree with George that El and the Srinshee had an interesting and nuanced relationship, as well. |

Yeah, Danilo needs to host a gathering for Elaith one day in Waterdeep using a forum similar to the one on Bravo with James Lipton.
"Welcome to Inside the Tel'Quessir of Faerun. Tonight's guest is one of the most infamous elves ever to come out of Evermeet..."
Yeah, I'm sure Elaith would love for Danilo to set up something like that.

I hadn't thought of that combination... But even if I had, I'd still have voted Jarlaxle and Entreri. Guenhwyvar, although obviously more intelligent than the average panther, just isn't enough developed as a character (not that this is a strike against Salvatore). |
