Posted - 16 Dec 2004 : 20:29:25 I just read "Pool of Radiance:Ruins of Myth Drannor" from Carrie Bebris(got it cheap on a second hand market) and was very surprised how well written this book was.
So my question, is this author's name a synonym, or are there any other books from Carrie Bebris out there?

Posted - 17 Dec 2004 : 03:04:00 Carrie is a very real person and ex-TSR staffer (I recall that she wrote some Birthright supplements), whom I've met at GenCons, and a friend of Ed's. He recommended to me Carrie's Mr. and Mrs. Darcy (Jane Austen Pride&Prejudice-pastiche) mystery, PRIDE & PRESCIENCE, from Tor Books, which is the first of a series. Very enjoyable and well-written (but NOT, of course, D&D-style fantasy). Good libraries should have this series, if you want to taste before buying. THO |

"If you're looking for information about my previous titles, you can find that here, too. Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor and Shadowborn are both fantasy tales of the sword-and-sorcery variety. " |
