Posted - 01 May 2004 : 10:46:15 I was looking through Amazon.com and I found a book called Elminster. I was wondering if this is legit, if there really is a book just called Elminster. Take a look via the link. |

Posted - 02 May 2004 : 04:58:44 I'm inclined to agree. I believe it's a used copy of Making of a Mage, especially from the comment posted.
The ISBN would have changed with each printing, by the way. |

Posted - 01 May 2004 : 14:26:49 It's a used book and it apparently originates with "Random House Value Pub" - I'd take a wild stab that it's maybe a book club edition of 1994's "Elminster: Making of a Mage" with the subtitle left off.

Posted - 01 May 2004 : 14:21:04 How odd. You can be reasonably certain it's not a book about the FR Elminster unless the author is Ed Greenwood and the publisher is Wizards of the Coast. If I'm not mistaken, Ed's next book about the character is entitled Elminster's Daughter. |
