Posted - 27 Feb 2011 : 22:42:00 It is with sadness that I am selling my 1st print OD&D boxed set (rare variant). I have placed it on eBay for anyone interested.
More pictures upon request (I didn't want to pay eBay to put more within the auction).

Posted - 20 Jun 2012 : 02:11:38 My uncle was a game collector, and always kept his stuff in N/M to Mint condition, but it was more of a hobby for him than for profit. When I was little he let me play a lot of the games that he opened. some where untouchable. He died not too long ago, and everyone thought his games were junk, and wanted to throw them away, so I went down to his house and told them I'd take what I could I took mostly board games, a few books and this set. I remember dungeons and dragons from somewhere probably I was asking to play it when I was little. When I looked it up I seen that it was really rare and popular. I didn't plan on learning to play it now, to complicated so I'm selling it. |

I'm a rather active collector. I purchased it from another collector awhile back.

Coming in late to this, I see it's sold. Such a shame that you had to part with it, definitely more than a collectible, a real treasure.

I think that your problem is that most everyone is being effected by the economic downturn. I would say your best bet would be to sell it on eBay. |

Posted - 13 May 2011 : 16:34:37 I am also looking to sell my (3rd) print OD&D boxed set, which was passed down by my uncle who recently died. Although it has some sentimental value, I am only looking for around 1,000.00 for it. I know its worth much more, If you want pictures and are really interested hit me on up. |
