Complete Warrior -> ??? Complete Arcane -> Complete Mage Complete Divine -> Complete Champion Complete Adventurer -> Complete Scoundrel
Just curious if I had a massive brain fart and am missing something entirely obvious.
Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords seems like it MIGHT have been a follow-up to Complete Warrior, but it was more what I view as a sort of current edition preview of the next edition (much like the Player's Options books like Skills & Powers of 2nd edition hinted towards how 3e would function). |

Which kinda expanded on some of the stuff from the Expanded Psionics Handbook. Both of which, I consider to be among some of the better 3e supplements published. |

Posted - 28 Jan 2010 : 23:55:29 No, you're correct in your judgment for the Complete books. Though, Complete Warrior is essentially a Greyhawk book with the serial numbers filed off, as all the religious organizations and deities are very much from Oerth. |

Posted - 28 Jan 2010 : 17:30:20 Nope, that was the extent of the Complete series for 3.5E. Though the Tome of Battle does a good job of complementing the Complete Warrior if I must say so. Yea, it does have alot of similarity to 4E but the powers in that book still don't compare to the sor/wiz or cleric spells of the same level (and rightly so). |
