Well met

I would hereby like to take this opportunity to formally welcome three newly assigned moderators to Candlekeep.

These long-standing members, who give much support here at Candlekeep and provide a vast amount of knowledge and Realmslore to fellow scribes, as well as work on other aspects of Candlekeep (The Candlekeep Compendium, to name but one) now have moderator status.

So I hereby welcome Kuje, The Sage and Wooly Rupert, to stand with me to control this rabble aid ye all through the chambers of Candlekeep. As ye will notice, each moderator has a particular area of responsibilty. This does not limit them to that area, however, and we are all available to provide help to you for any part of the forum or the Candlekeep site itself, should ye need it.

So please join me in welcoming these fellow scribes to their new role ::raises a glass of mead::

Congratulations to you three!!!
This is a very well deserved promotion
I think that Deneir and Oghma are giving a good "planar party " for your promotion!
KnightErrantJR Posted - 20 Jul 2005 : 06:09:24
Does this mean I have to get them matching "happy halfling" custom Sembian robes too?
hammer of Moradin Posted - 20 Jul 2005 : 03:47:51
I'm out for a hurricane and this happens. Talk about your natural disasters!
Congrats guys.

Congratulations for ''promotion''. I was excepting that you three are promoted one day, because you deserve it.

I think I'll stick with my swarms of Miniature Giant Space Hamsters. Which is worse, being hit with a stick or nibbled to death by cute little rodents?
Lord Rad Posted - 19 Jul 2005 : 17:42:25
Congrats on your promotions Sage, Wooly and Kuje Well deserved to some extremely knowledgable scribes of Candlekeep who couldn't have been better chosen .

Note to self: Keep up the flattery to avoid the staff of the irritated moderators

I'll have ye know that these robes are of the finest workmanship and materials. Itchy? Not at all, I always walk like this.

This means Alaundo can whip me even more and use one of those larger and more tailed ones, but it's a different one then the one he likes to use on THO. :)

Thanks for the congrats, everyone.

Congratulations to the three new moderators. Hope they will continue helping out here.

My congratulations to you three new moderators.
Jindael Posted - 18 Jul 2005 : 12:18:14
Good Choices! Congrats.

And the best part, now that Wooly has a new office, I don't have to spend all day downwind of the Hamster litter box.

So Alaundo, I've been wanting to ask this question since you first asked the three of us to come on-board as moderators... When do we each get our own Staff of the Irritated Moderator?

They're on their way, Sage. The dwarven smiths are just adding extra barbs into the ends

Oh, BTW Alaundo, I noticed our stars have changed colour.

When you first made the change-over, our moderator stars where the same colour as your stars. Is the colour change to denote the difference between the "Head Moderator" and standard "Moderator" positions?

I felt that a light blue suited thy hair better Indeed, this is to distinguish between moderators and administrators of the forum.

You mean like the best hamster is one on a stick?

Any way at least you got a new title *wink* though not the custom one you sought some months ago.

When Big Al said our titles would change, I did ask if he could somehow work the word "mischief" into mine. For some reason, he never answered...

I was also hoping that would be the case. It would make explaining the reference all the more easier .

However, I'd like to also thank Alaundo (again ) for this opportunity. And I would also like to ask my fellow moderators -- Wooly and Kuje -- to stand with me in helping Alaundo to maintain Candlekeep as a "peaceful and secure society"...

And thank you to all the other scribes for their congrats. Remember, we're here to help you!
