Actually I'm a lot nastier than I look, but I'm too insignificant to matter  . Hang on a minute, you said 'wise' old men so I suppose that doesn't include me after all

From the shawowy side of the room a young woman steps forward. "Welcome, Solaufein" she says, "don't let those wise and loud men frighten you, they're nicer than they look. Here, have a biscuit! must be hungry from your quest, ey?" She offers the newcommer a few biscuits combined with a friendly smile. |

TDM thinks of snatching the Ale back from Alaundo but decides not to as Alaudo is a mod.
He simply replies, "I'm glad you're enjoying it" with perhaps over sarcastic emphasis on the word 'glad'
