I am reading the Realms of Elves and I have noticed the name Valmaxian before, but even after reading the story about Valmaxian I still feel like I am missing something important. Can anyone educate me better on Valmaxian? |

So basically I would be correct in assuming there isn't much more to Valmaxian than the NWN reference and the short story reference? Hmmmm..... I wish they would right more stories of Elven high mages. Such fascinating characters with their mysterious Elven ways! |

The staff of Valmaxian was an item in Neverwinter Nights. This particular story in Realms of the Elves may well be one of those originally intended for the NWN anthology. |
