I need some info or maybe even some maps of the Calimsport or calimshan area and any info on any of the pashas houses. I am writing an adventure where my characters have to go to pooks house and get some info from him directly.

Calimshan is also depicted well in the "Servant of the Shard" book by R.A. Salvatore - if you want to get a feel of the area from a novel point of view.

Additionally, see Steven Schend's collected replies here at Candlekeep. He's discussed many "this or that" aspects of Calimshan.

I have read Salvatore on the subject and this is by no means a rip off of his writing as a matter of fact I dont really want to use pooks house but it does need to be a pasha and a well informed one at that.

The lore and short stats from both 2e books should cause no problems using the new rules.
