I need some info or maybe even some maps of the Calimsport or calimshan area and any info on any of the pashas houses. I am writing an adventure where my characters have to go to pooks house and get some info from him directly.

Empires of the Shining Sea box set. The Calimport sourcebook. :) |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

And a nice map of Calimshan can be found here as well. |
There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist. Terry Pratchett |

Thanks for your quick replies, I am playing 3.5 so will the box set be a good reference for me? I have read Salvatore on the subject and this is by no means a rip off of his writing as a matter of fact I dont really want to use pooks house but it does need to be a pasha and a well informed one at that. |

The lore and short stats from both 2e books should cause no problems using the new rules. |

Additionally, see Steven Schend's collected replies here at Candlekeep. He's discussed many "this or that" aspects of Calimshan.

Calimshan is also depicted well in the "Servant of the Shard" book by R.A. Salvatore - if you want to get a feel of the area from a novel point of view.
