I lost my D&D dice, is their a site where I can download paper versions. Like fold a paper in the shape of a die for 1d8 and so on. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please respond to this. |

Ooh I don't envy you, I can hardly make a d6 without crushing the sides and getting sellotape everywhere let alone a d20  |

I know... Just thought it sounded rather silly to be a RPG-player and not have the needed dice-set... But one can be out of luck and lose them. Fair enough. |

Ideally, a gamer should have many sets of dice. But for some gamers, that's not always possible. So we were discussing certain viable alternatives.  |

Come on guys... Buy the dice-set. A home made dice will never have the realistic average outcome of the rolls... You can impossibly make it as even-sided as one bought in a store... |

I do not know of any sights where you can get templates for paper dice, but here is an idea to use so the dice you make will not be crushed, put some kind of tape around them. I use duck tape because it does not bend so easily |

Oh, I remember that one, now. It's not a bad one, but I still prefer a little freeware I found called QuickDice. I'd post the URL, but I'll be dipped if I could tell you where I found it -- I found that program 1 computer and several rebuilds ago. |

Like many gamers, I've got way too many dice. I actually keep a bag of oddball dice with my regular dice, just in case someone needs to borrow them.
(I've also got novelty dice of various sorts, including a smiley D6 and one of the D5's that Dragon gave away a couple years ago)

Cardstock might work better, but even that won't be great. So I agree: it's time to go shopping. |

1) If you have a laptop that you bring with you, just download the Dice Roller program from the WotC website.
Or 2) Borrow someone else's between turns; in the game I was in this spring, the DM provided all the dice except for mine.
Or 3) . . . make a trip to the mall. Paper dice just won't cut it unless you pack it with clay or something. |

http://www.dicecollector.com/MY_PAPER.HTM appears to offer such images. I do not normally load images however did look at the d4 and it should work.
As for the "ORDERING INFORMATION " the templates are not sold, the owner of the website does appear willing to trade non paper dice. I hope the other dice templates look as good as the d4 did. |
