does anyone one plays with affiliations? i play 3.0/3.5 and love them. wondering if any others use them in their games.

i have a few home brew and a couple modified

That actually sounds quite interesting, and yes..the random stranger in a tavern job gets old after a while.

i dont make them be part of one. i lime it better when they strive to be part of one. that way they can suggest more on how they wanna go.

I've made use of of affiliations/religions/organizations for years. I do this as a player and a DM by either automatically making many of my characters members of one group or another or by asking players to consider it. The 3.x affiliations are just a more streamlined method for doing so.

i got into it after getting PLAYERS HANDBOOK.for me i as able to make knight hoods and druid circles and give a reason why group had to do something. having a stranger in a tavern send you on a mission gets old. now your order needs something makes it better

I wouldn't mind learning more about it, I just got back into the game. Or rather, I am trying. So I have not heard of that before.
