I'm curious to find out how many alternate aspects, identities, and names Lloth has/had?
Does she have any male aspects? |

Shar would have tried to subsume lolth like the elder eye. Would have, had he/it succeeded in seducing her. Shar seems to like eating other gods...
This would give this fling at least some thrill... |

Posted - 08 Aug 2013 : 15:53:34 I think that a slime thingy would have a hard time trying to woo anything...
And don't come up with ''gods can assume various forms'' because -while true-, that would extend to gender itself, rendering this matter pointless. |

Bravo! Silverwolf...you hit the nail right on the head. And if the elder eye wasn't male he wouldn't have tried to woo lolth after the seldarine wars.
If he wasn't male, he would have had a chance with her. She hates males so much, that I doubt she could ever be happy with one. Shar's all into darkness and evil too, so that's probably her best option.
Seriously though, if Loviatar can find love, there really is someone out there for everyone. |

Posted - 08 Aug 2013 : 06:32:19 Overall Lolth is more the type that forces others to do her work, rather then do it herself. Am sure she has a thing or two at one point or anther when she had to do something fully by herself.
But she really is the archtype of manipulating your best friend to have sex with your lover, and then you get in a rage and kill your best friend, all while the lover was a drow polymorphed to only look like the lover, and the lover walks in shocked to see blood on the lovers hands, and gets the murderer in prison for the rest of their lives. |

Posted - 08 Aug 2013 : 06:21:17 Don't forget the Wise Queen (worshippers: K'r'r'r; alignment: Lawful Evil?). Which may or may not be another "hijacked" role and/or (going by a minor, but telling detail) a power creep assisted by Selvetarm. |

Posted - 07 Aug 2013 : 21:10:42 Is Moander really male or neuter? It might have been called he just for simplicity. I think of Moander as a thing. (Ghaunadaur, too) |

Posted - 07 Aug 2013 : 05:14:08 I didn't mean to imply that Selvetarm was an alias, but as most of his worshipers would have been male, I thought he would be worth mentioning. |

Posted - 07 Aug 2013 : 02:28:47 Moander is one of her Aliases. So is Zinzerena (some kind of assassin interloper demipower who was banished by Lolth).
Selvetarm is one of her lackeys, but definitely not an aspect.
So her only ''male'' aspect is Moander, AFAIK. |
