Does anyone know the specific date of this Waterdhavian holiday? I found it referenced in Faiths and Avatars, but no specific date is listed and nothing came up for me using the search function.

Back in 3E, WotC codified the synodic cycle for the Realms in the Campaign Setting book (I honestly can't remember if it was also done earlier). There's even a handy calendar tool on their (old) website, here. It's downloadable, and you can view moon phases, plug in important campaign dates, and pretty much go wild. |

I'm at work and unable to access my books...but I seem to recall that Selune's Hallowing was a date commemorating Selune's faithful driving the worshipers of Shar down to the docks in defeat.
The Night of Temple Fires in 1345 DR is what comes to mind.
As for the source, I don't recall...it would be that talks about Waterdeep or Selune specifically...I'll try to find out when I get home.

not sure if this is canon or not. I found it in the "Forgotten Realms Compendium 3rd Edition" but it has no source/author listed. Most of the entries in the compendium are from the FR Mailing List and a dnd newsgroup.

Nothing..just a full moon, so make up a date as a full moon is never on the same date every year. |
